We are happy that you are here. Our main goal is to provide access to affordable counseling services. We offer individual, family, marriage, and group counseling to individuals regardless of their ability to pay. At our center, we want to be a place where you feel welcome and accepted. At FCS you can talk about your struggles and access the resources you need to help yourself and your family. We see people for a wide array of issues ranging from depression and anxiety to addictions, anger, and relationship problems. In-person and Zoom sessions are available.
Our mission is to provide high quality counseling and educational services to Lubbock and the surrounding areas. We offer reasonable rates that cater to your current financial situation. At Family Counseling Services, we strive to reach anyone and everyone at their present level and help you to achieve the goals that will lead to a happier, stronger, well-adjusted you.
ABOUT US
We are a non-profit counseling agency located in Lubbock, Texas. We offer a broad array of counseling and educational services to Lubbock and the surrounding areas. Our counselors are LPC's, LPC-Associates, and Master's Level Interns from various universities. They all set their own appointments. To request an appointment, click on the SIGN UP TAB or email admin@fcslubbock.org. Your information will be reviewed and if we have any questions, we will reply via email to your submission. Then a counselor will contact you to set an appointment.
We provide individual, family, marriage, and group counseling services. You can choose your price point based on what you can afford. LPC's are $75 per session, LPCA's are $40 per session, and the Master's Level Interns are free. For more information about your choices, click on the COUNSELORS Tab. We accept Medicaid and some commercial policies. You may select in-person sessions or zoom sessions. For free sessions, usually the shortest wait is for sessions conducted via Zoom.

A HUMBLE BEGINNING
Family Counseling Services opened in 1954. In 2002, seeing the needs of the community, FCS expanded its services. We have grown our services over 400% and constructed a new facility in 2010. Executive Director Bryan Moffitt and LPC Brad Stiggers worked with pick axes and a huge dumpster to remove the chunks of discarded concrete, overgrown weeds, and litter to make way for the construction of the new Family Counseling Services facility on the corner of 57th and P, Building 9, in the Briercroft Office Park.
